The goal of this article is to propose a theoretical and methodological approximation to Latin American migrant struggles that occur in different dispute arenas. We center our argument on the social antagonism analysis and made a particular appropriation of the autonomy of migration perspective that, until now, has been fundamentally developed in Europe. We offer some analytical dimensions and approaches for the judgment of this arenas based on the study of the migrant struggles against the anti-immigrant legislation that take place in Arizona during the two thousand decade: the confrontation fields configuration, the everyday struggle for the social living reproduction and the "social surplus" that institute the open migrant political struggles. We are interested into contribute to enrich the main perspectives that study the political actions which take place in different political arenas on destination societies where Latin American migrants have been involved. We consider very important to go further than the frameworks as socio-political transnationalism as those centered on categories like social movements, human rights and citizenship, but taking into account all its contributions to the knowledge about the migrant struggles.
