With the implementation of the neoliberal system in Argentina thousands of families decided to occupy empty houses, as a strategy to fight and survive. Since then, these squattered homes have turned into quotidian places where people raise children, grow and learn about power. In this context, we study the knowledge built up about the State by a group of children between the ages of 8 and 15 that live in an occupied house by the Movimiento Territorial de Liberación in the Buenos Aires City.
