Abstract

he article has as objective to analyze the social representation of immigrant in the government programs of the year 2005 and 2013 of the former president Michelle Bachelet. The study has a qualitative approach, through a rough estimate of the socalled Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The results indicate that the social representation of immigrant is situated between the ambivalence of the inclusion (from the proposal for political action) and discrimination (from the discursive construction of the subjectivity of the immigrant).
