In this article we will assess the reorganization of the Mapuche community called Ñorquinco (Department of Aluminé, Province of Neuquén) in the 1990's after its members endured several forced resettlements. We will deal with this matter within the context of territorial conflict where it occurs and also in relation to the depth and historical dynamics of ethnic identity and ethnicity.
