In the present work, we propose a descriptive overview of the economic and political contexts that existed from the mid-1970s to the early 2000s. In this regard, we will return to those events of great relevance on the world stage, analyzing in what ways they had repercussions in the national field. From this description, we will try to give an account of the contexts in which the indigenous organizations were shaped and consolidated until becoming key actors of the social field. To this end, we will focus on developing the work of the ethnic organizations of the locality of Pampa del Indio in the province of Chaco, taking into account the links they have established in recent decades with nongovernmental and governmental organizations, social, religious and how public policies were implemented at the local level
