Abstract

Along almost two years, between 2011 and 2013, we make observationes in differents police stations in Rosario city (Argentina) and interviewed several police officers. With the ethnographic material developed during this period, in this article in particular we propose to reflect about some of the ways that the State, in general, and the police, in particular, take roles in areas considered marginal zones.
