The article analyzes a series of oral testimonies collected in the city of Tostado, Santa Fe, among members of the Moqoit community "Pedro José", to identify the common elements that play an important role in the construction and reproduction of the collective memory referred to the indigenous history in the region. The objective is to characterize, from the ethnographic practice and the construction of oral sources, the main topics that circulate in the discourse of the Moqoit and the population of the city when referring to the history of the community
