This article examines the reorientations that have occurred in assistance policies that aim at the social inclusion of young people from popular sectors in the context of the health emergency due to COVID-19 and mandatory social isolation in Argentina (2020-2021). For that, this paper reconstructs and analyzes, based on a qualitative methodological approach, the transformations that have occurred in two specific state intervention modalities: while in the ENVIÓN Program the strategies "of closeness” between the technical teams and the youth groups have been reformulated and reinforced; in the PROGRESAR Program, the discussion about its deterritorialized logic has been updated, which decouples it from the classic programs oriented towards this population.
