In the last decades a new field has emerged: the health informatics. The social sciences, especially science studies, have documented this grown as well as assisted in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of information systems in the field of health. The objective of this work is to recover arguments and categories to collaborate in an interdisciplinary dialogue. We selected three authors - Paul Edwards, Diana Forsythe and Marc Berg - whose works serve to address central issues in the field.
