Abstract

This article presents a conceptual definition of two mapunzugun terms: Küpalme, Rakizuam and Güxam. These words are part of the conceptual categories of World Vision Sources, World Vision Contents and World Vision Transmission in Mapuzugun, respectively. Regarding the aforementioned terms, their Categorization, Social Aspects and Epistemological Aspects are explained. Along with that, and as a first step, the four theoretical axes that contextualize the work (Linguistic Relativism, Radical Constructivism, Cognitive Ethnolinguistics and Epistemology of Language and the Speaker) are described. Data were provided by six highly competent speakers and the data analysis procedure was based on the Hermeneutical Translation and Content Analysis.
