This paper aims to explore representations of poverty and inequality in different researchs addressing the problem of poverty and child cognitive development, carried out by professionals in Cognitive Science, Psychology and Education in Argentina. For the analysis, scientific publications were selected since 2009 until today. It was sought to put these in dialogue with anthropological and sociological research productions on these issues, taking into account the contributions to the discussion that aim to foster a collaborative relationship between different scientific disciplines.
