This article presents a methodological reflection about ethnography's relevance for research in educational public policies in Argentine. Particularly, it considers the usefulness of a deep discussion about subject's implication with the object of knowledge, topic that is usually analyzed in academic contexts, but is frequently relegated in research when it is conduced into State offices.
